Sweets!

I recently did a sweets table for a lovely couple who were celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary.  They wanted a rustic, fall theme and let me use my creative license to come up with this spread.  I am happy with the way it came out and thankfully the couple was as well! They had a wonderful photographer who captured these great shots of the table. The key to any great buffet or tablescape is layers.  Presenting food at various heights is really what makes a buffet visually interesting.  Think outside the box (or the dish)! On this table I used vintage vanity trays, old apple baskets, log slices, antique crates and boxes.  Use what you have, turn it on its side or upside down and stack on the delicious treats!
