It’s beginning to look a lot like

What’s the saying? ….If one Christmas tree is good, five is better??

So weird, my husband hadn’t heard of that saying either 😉

I love the Christmas season and I love decorating our home for the occasion.  I feel each room needs a bit of Christmas spirit in it and much of my spirit this year comes in the form of trees! I didn’t go crazy decorating each one, so it wasn’t as much work as it may seem.  My focus was really on our two main trees and the others are festive additions.

I also scored tons fresh garland at a great price. So, after draping the roping around the doors, railings and mantel I still had quite a bit leftover.  Because I hate waste, I really tried to incorporate the garland just about everywhere.  I made wreathes, I wrapped it around my chandeliers and I used cuttings to make floral arrangements.  I think it came out quite nice:

Since I decided to decorate our main tree in all silver, golds and whites, I needed another tree to hang all of our family ornaments (well, at least that is how I rationalized it):

This tree, is what we call my daughter’s tree. It is in the family room, she helped to decorate it with all of our sentimental and fun ornaments and has been responsible for watering it (which she takes quite seriously).
And of course, no self respecting 4 y/o can have her own tree without an Elsa ornament!

This tree was growing in a precarious position on our property and had to go anyway, so I figured… Hey, why not?

Our sunroom has this pre-lit pencil tree I got for a steal last year.  I was inspired by a peacock feather I came across:

Last, but not least, the smallest in our tree family:

Ugh.  Am I really going to need to take these all down in a couple weeks??
